Unspeakable Axe Records was started February of 2013 to release material by obscure but deserving metal bands. It is a sub-imprint of Dark Descent. Our focus is on bands that mix thrash with death or black metal. Some of our favorites: Possessed, early Sepultura, early Death, Nihilist, Carnage, Autopsy, Protector, Messiah, Merciless, Mortuary Drape, Varathron, Sadus, Num Skull, Kreator, Sodom, Agressor, Insanity, Electrocution, Aura Noir, Celtic Frost… I could keep going for days. I also like crossover and crust and other stuff that is punk-influenced, too. So that’s the kind of stuff we’re mostly looking for, but at the same time nothing is ruled out; if I really like it I would probably release it.
